Help me out?!!?

I need ideas, My boyfriends niece has a prom dress that she got at a yard sale this past summer.

She wants to make something out of it, but I am not sure what to make, I know how to sew but...

I taught her how to sew too,but niehter of us are great at it. I dont know if she could make a bag out of it or not? I dont know if it would be strong enough?

What was I thinking?!!

What the heck was I thinking, going shopping on black friday! I must be crazy!
I was at wal-mart by 4 am, they opened at 5am . and let me tell you People are down right RUDE! pushing shoving not wanting to let you by.
There were a few that I would like to say thank you too they were very nice and helped me!
Next year I will stay home and sleep!!

Also did you hear about the man I believe in New york, That was killed he was trampled to death. people took teh doors off the hinges and just plowed him over and trampled him to death! they also Knocked over a pregnant lady who was hospitalized for observation!

that is absolutly crazy and depressing. What is this world coming to when material things over rule stopping to help somebody!

Turkey Day!!

Well Turkey day is a few days away! Yikes! I will be joining my boyfriends family as usual tukey day lunch then coming home to take a nap. Then we will have our own thanksgiving here, in four years this will be the first year we will have a one on one personal thanksgiving! Not that I dont enjoy teh family ones. I do. but it will be nice to have our own too!

My menu will include

Turkey
green bean casserole
stuffing(for him) yuck!
cranberrie sauce
mashed potatoes
maybe some mac n cheese I dunno
its a southern thing,(i'm a yankee)
Cinnamon Pie
apple pie
pumpkin pie

I also saw a great recipe on rachel ray : 1 box vanilla pudding,1 can pumpkin puree(not pie mix),1 tub of cool whip,gingersnaps

make your pudding mix in the pumpkin,then fold in your cool whip, put ginger snaps in the bottom of your bowl,pumpkin mix on top and to make it look pretty a dollop of cool whip with a gingersnap stuck in it!
I made some tonight its so yummy!!!

Game Night

AAAHhh Game night,

My boyfriends nieces spent the night last night we stayed up way to late... Playin Yahtzee and Pictionary, I had forgot how fun it is just to sit around and play games. Its amazing all the laughs and conversations that come up while playing.

Why dont more familys have game nights? your never to busy to have fun! and spend time with loved ones or just some friends!

I am also learnig how to play poker! :)

I am an etsy shop owner, Jdfootloose.etsy.com I crochet make Jewelry, etc etc
I love to listen to music, especially classic rock! I am taking care of my brother and sister, My mother is a truck driver.

I credit my grandmother for my crafting, She was a great crafter, known all over the state of Maine. She had me crafting as soon as could use scissors! back then it was mostly gluing her scraps of fabric to construction paper... but you gotta start somewhere!
