Wedding Challenge!

My CreateCrochet team had a a challenge going on to create something for a wedding or wedding inspired. Here is my creation... A white shawl with multi colored blue fun fur trim. it makes a great thick scarf too.

There is no prize in these challenges they are simply to keep us in a creative state of mind and to have fun.

Where I would Go!

If I could leave tomorrow on a trip, all expenses paid. I would Go to Maine! My home state where I grew up. where most my family still lives. I havent been back since my grandmother died in 2005. I'd love to go to bucksport and see all my friends get a S'mores flurry & walk on the bay. maybe go over to Fort Knox and look around like when we were kids.
I would love to go hiking in Baxter state park, go fishing & camping.

I would go to Bar harbor and walk around on the beach, go to pirates Cove and play mini golf.
and of course eat a nice YUMMMMY LOBSTER!!!

~Also I would love to see Ireland!

~Relay For Life!!!

The CreateCrochet Team's latest charity project is to support the Relay for Life program.
Members of the team are making Chemo Caps and other goodies that will be sold at a booth at the Relay for Life at Kingman High School in Kingman Arizona the weekend of June 5-6, 2010.
This project is sponsored by our own team member CreationsbyM2, who will be organizing the booth as well as walking in the Relay.
All proceeds earned in the sale will go to the Relay for Life Foundation.

~Relay For Life~

CreateCrochet team on Etsy http://creatcrochet.blogspot.com/ Is dong a Charity event for Relay for life. We are making Hats,headbands, etc, etc to donate and be sold at a booth at the rfl in Az. what doesnt sell will be doanted to hospitals and children & adults who could use the pick me up!

Anywho, Thought I better write another blog post. It has been awhile. I havent done to much since the last post, although it is getting pretty warm outside, suppose to be in the 80's this weekend.

I have made a bunch of Rad Rope scarf's for my shop & my sister. Also been making some dish cloths & paper. Stiil have no wedding venue, but I do have more supplies for teh wedding so atleast I am getting somewhere. Tomorrow is my day off so I will be cleaning,Crocheting & hopefully enjoying the sunshine & maybe even a trip to the goodwill. My mother is going to make some crochet Rag Rugs for her house, so we need some old bedsheets.

Oh Yes! I cant forget to tell you that Are CreateCrochet team on Etsy is doing another Charity event. about a year ago we did Scarves for Operation Gratitude, this time we are doing Hats & things for Relay for Life. Our own http://www.creationsbym2.etsy.com/ is doing the walk in Arizona and has a booth there where she will sell our creations and teh proceeds to go to cancer reasearch, we may also list some hats & things to buy on etsy and Donate(Ex. you buy a purple hat and we send it to a lil girl/boy who could use it and teh money goes to reasearch.
