Just a Quick post

I just wanted to show off a Scarf I made. I made up a bunch of Squares/Rectangles, then I crocheted them all together... My sister loved the Scarf so I gave it to her. Does it remind you of Ketchup & Mustard or Harry Potter???

Also I started a scarf using three strands of yarn at once. here are a few pics from when I began the project. Finished photos coming as soon as I can get some sun light.

Updates & Ramblings

Wow 2010 already, Happy New Year to Everyone. I just cant seem to get things rolling this year. I am slacking in my blog writing. Although I have been pretty productive in the Crochet dept. I have made two scarves for myself and an earwarmer for my shop etc....

I got a few Knitting loom for Christmas I am teaching myself how to make hats, I figure I'll give the first few to my family to test out and see howI do then maybe I will add them to my shop. I would really like to start working with sea Glass more this year. and maybe even get into the Resin jewelry I have been talking about for Two years. and I want to learn to Felt too! Oh yeah and my Mother bought me a New Sewing machine for Christmas! :D Oh yeah and I have to be in a wedding this year, and Plan my Own...I guess 2010 is going to be a busy year!

Ok now to promote a little. I am on the CreateCrochet team and the Nctriangle team, If you Crochet or sell crochet related items check out the crochet team its a great bunch of people and we have so much fun.

A Christmas Miracle

I got engaged back in November, a week after my 5th anniversary. and then last sunday while watching his nieces christmas play I lost the engagement ring...And didint know it.

I know I had it at her play (A cinderella Christmas) then we cam home ate dinner and went to watch her younger sisters sing at there chuch where they were having there play. well when they said closing prayer I bowed my head and noticed my ring was gone. I thought oh great just what I need!

So we left and hunted around my vehicle and around the house. My fiances mother told them at the church to keep an eye out for it. Then the next day she called to see if i had found it. I hadnt.

So she went to the Stone center (where the play was held) and hunted around in the room where we were. never found it. So she gave them her number and said if by chance someone finds it please call me.

well no call.....Then on Wednesday on our way home from Winston-Salem Hospital (future Sil has to go once a month) We got a call from my fiances other sister. They had found the ring at the stone center!

wal-lah, yipee, awesome! Ms.Janet the kind lady that found my ring, Told me I was very lucky and should play the lottery. :P Because they had just had two confrences in that same room w/ 400 + people in each conference and no one ever saw the ring. She found it when she hit with a dust mop, while cleaning up. Isnt it a Miracle!? So now the Ring is safely back on my finger where it belongs! ♥

Ok Followers please forgive me from my blogging absence. I have a few ramblings to let you know about. a few pictures to show from thanksgiving etc.

I had a great Thanksgiving. My grandfather came down, on his wat to florida for the winter. It was so great to see him. He got to see his great grandson for the first time. (My brothers Son)

We have our Christmas tree put up and will hopefully be putting up Christmas lights on the house today.

It is a rainy cold boring day here. I am trying to get a few scarf sets done, but I keep ending up on the computer :P

I cant believe Thanksgiving is two weeks from tomorrow, and Christmas is a month after that. Although I do have a head start on my Christmas shopping this year.
