New items and Ramblings

Ok so I added a couple new items to my Etsy shop...heres my latest. I added this dish cloth tonight, I also added the first in a series of floating pearl necklaces a few days ago.

We had a great 4th of July weekend, I got great Photos of the Fireworks,and spent time with my family and friends. I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend!

I was born and spent my early years in Niagara Falls, New York. I moved to Northern California as a teen and found that, even at that young age, I was in awe of the vast and diverse scenery. M.j Is a legend in his right, even if you didnt care for him you cant deny his amazing talent! He was extremly soft spoken and shy,BUT put him on stage...WoW he was so energetic and lively! I grew up listening to his music and trying to moonwalk, He broke so many barriers when it came to music today... he was the first african american musicain on MTV..he defined what a music video is today! he made back up dancers famous, as you can see in music videos today! He has performed with so many other big talents such as guitar great Slash...hes had the likes of Eddie Murphy,Michael Jordan,naomi campbell in his videos! Anyone who knows me well knows I am a music fanatic. I mostly listen to music from before my time or from when I was a child...I can honestly say theres only two musicains that I know of that I can name most all there songs and know the lyrics too! and that is Michael Jackson and Aerosmith!
I am not a fanatical Mj fan I do not have a cardboard cut out of him in my livingroom. I dont even have all his albums in fact I only have one...but I do think he deserves great recognition of the impact he has had on music and our culture for the past 30 some odd years....
I mean he made loafers cool,and the one Glove, his sparkly socks,red leather etc etc.
My mother was a child when the Jackson 5 came out, I was born at the height of his career in 83...and I still love his music to this day! he may not have always made great choices, but his music was and always will be great!
Now a song he sang for a young man, that now fits him too!

What a nice day!

Good afternoon! It is another beutiful day here. I am starting off this blog post with a big huge THANK YOU!! to YaffaDreams.etsy.com she gifted me this cute T-shirt, great for summer! I love it! check out her shop for great unique jewelry pieces,wine glass charms etc!Also I got some Snicker fudge from Hillsidebakery.etsy.com MMMMMMMMmmm it is the best fudge ever! it is amazing!

On another note it has been a pretty busy week, cleaning house, and trying to lay a cement patio on the front of my house. It is back breaking when your trying to mix cement in a 5 gallon bucket, dump it, smooth it and start again, but its getting the job done...slowly, but its getting done. :P

I have been photographing items for my etsy shop, I will soon be adding more dish rags, and Jewelry and one of my brothers recycled bird houses...

I made a mushroom white sauce lasagna tonight for dinner, it's my spin on a Ina garten (barefoot contessa) recipe

I put mushrooms and zucchini in it thats it other than the cheese sauce. topped it off with a little crushed red pepper ,S & P and rosemary...MMMmmmMMmmm

Also I made a new Necklace tonight...
